DESCRIPTION:
This aluminium silicone sealant is a high modulus acetoxy cure sanitary silicone sealant containing aluminium flake incorporating a fungicide to eliminate bacteria growth on the cured sealant. The product cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to give a tough durable elastic seal. It will adhere strongly to most construction materials including glass, ceramics and metals, conforms to BS5889 Part B. USES:
Idealseal Aluminium Silicone Sealant GP Sanitary is used for draught sealing around windows and doors. It is the ideal bath sealant or shower sealant. Other uses for this sealant include sanitary ware, glass and tiling, kitchen units, caravans, boats, rail cars and electrical components.
APPLICATION:
Before applying your aluminium silicone sealant ensure surface is clean and dust free. Cut the cartridge seal and screw on nozzle which should be cut to required size. Gun sealant firmly into joint ensuring no air is trapped behind. If required place masking tape along joint edges, removing within 10 minutes of application.
