This clear silicone sealant is a low modulus sealant with a fungicide which cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to give a flexible durable and elastic seal capable of accommodating high levels of movement. The sealant adheres without the need of primer to rigid uPVC, reinforced plastics and cement based materials. UV resistance is excellent, conforms to BS5889 Type A, ISO 11.600 F12.5E.

Idealseal Clear Silicone Sealant LMN is ideal for perimeter sealing of rigid uPVC frames and aluminium. Other uses for this sealant sealing panel joints in cold stores etc, joints in concrete and other porous cement based materials. Sealing around uPVC and GRP cladding panels and exterior applications requiring a high level of movement.

Before applying your clear silicone sealant, ensure the surface is clean and dust free. Cut the cartridge seal and screw on nozzle which should be cut to required size. Gun sealant firmly into joint ensuring no air is trapped behind. If required place masking tape along joint edges, removing within 10 minutes of application.

Q.How many tubes do I need?
A.This is dependent on the size of the bead you are applying, there is however a formula you can use to give you a guide to the amount of tubes you will need:

Width(mm) x depth of joint(mm) x length (in linear metres) of joint, divide this by the volume of tube in ml = number of cartridges required.

Remember to consider wastage when ordering.
