Engine Lacquer is a colourless, transparent liquid (based on a combination of acrylic resins and organic solvents) for maintenance and corrosion protection of the internal engine compartment and engine block. This product is a highly heat-resistant clear varnish which makes the engine appear as new.

Tectane Engine Lacquer prevents corrosion in the engine compartment and reduces the "caking“ of dirt. The products application gives new shine to parts treated and forms a transparent protective film, delaying the formation of new dirt and making later cleaning easier. It also makes cables, cable connections and ignition systems insensitive to moisture.

Ideal temperature 16°C – 25°C. Clean and dry the engine compartment thoroughly (e.g. with the help of Brake Cleaner) before using Engine Lacquer. Shake the aerosol vigorously before use. Spray all engine parts, the cable, battery and internal engine compartment evenly from a distance of approx. 25 to 30cm and let the lacquer dry for half an hour.
