Home › How Much Sealant Do I Need?
We know it can be difficult to calculate how many tubes you may need for a particular job especially if you are unfamilar with a product. In order to make the ordering process easier we have provided a simple formula below to give you an estimate of how many linear metres a tube provides:
Size of the Tube (ml) / (Width of the Joint (mm) x Depth of the Joint (mm)) = Number of Linear Metres From A Tube
For example if the tube was 310ml and the joint was 6mm wide and 6mm deep
310 / (6x6) = Number of Linear Metres
310/36 = 8.6 metres
*Always remember to factor in wastage
